At the beginning of 2022, NFTizer took part in the “Road to Web 3” ETH Global hackathon, with a clearly defined idea about trying to solve one of the most common difficulties users and projects are facing – rewarding holders of NFT collections with ERC-20 token or with another NFT.

NFTizer team have hacked together and come up with Minimal Viable Product during the three days hackathon. Quality research and forward-thinking approach alongside the development process delivered a result – Winning the first prize in the tooling category.

NFT airdrops could possibly be seen as part of the marketing strategy where developers of NFT projects send free tokens to holders of specific collections in order to incentives their further engagement, or just to reward their activities so far.
The market shows that startups use both, Crypto and NFT airdrops. It also increases awareness about their Non-Fungible Token Collection and could be a good way to bust the price of the token if there is a lot of publicity.

The initial impulse to start with the Air Bro project came from our own need to easily send ERC20 tokens or NFTs to certain addresses by using a more viable solution than it is developing a custom contract for it every time.

How it’s made?

Air Bro functionality is based on the Air Bro factory smart contract, which deploys a separate smart contract depending on the reward type. Deployed on Polygon Mainnet. Using Moralis API for fetching NFT collections data.

Types of rewards:

• Existing ERC-20 token
• Newly generated ERC-20 token
• Minted ERC-1155 NFT

How does it work?

Select the NFT collection you would like to reward:
Refers to selecting one or more NFT collections whose owners are planned to be rewarded with an airdrop.
You can easily search the collection by name or by pasting the NFT collection address.

Choose the reward you would like to airdrop:
In this section, the user chooses type and content for airdrop action.

What is the airdrop:

• Mint new NFT (ERC-1155)
  User fills out the information like – Collection Name, Collection Symbol, Number of Copies, and Description.
  The user also must add a collection asset by the “Drag’n’Drop or browse function.
• Existing ERC-20 Token
  The user proceeds the process by choosing Token, the object of the airdrop, choosing the Network, and choosing Amount to Distribute.
• New ERC-20 Token
  Allows the user to mint a completely new ERC-20 Token and distribute it as a reward.
  To complete the process, the user has to fill out the information like – Token Name, Token Symbol, and Total Token Supply.

Submit a transaction for deploying a smart contract
The user approves the smart contract to finish the airdrop process by executing this action.

Current NFT holders can claim the tokens.
After reviewing the recent drops, the holder can easily claim his NFT or ERC-20 token rewards.
Next stop: Holder will be automatically informed about airdrops sent to their wallet ready to claim.

Future plans

• Deploy on other EVM-compatible chains such as Ethereum, Avalanche, Fantom.
• Have an option to target precisely who we airdrop. For example only NFTs with particular properties inside a collection.
• We see Aibro becoming a guarantee of random distribution of rewards (proof of randomness – POR).
• Reward with NFT collection of different rarity levels.

Using the Air Bro airdrop tool is relatively straightforward with a user-friendly interface. You can transfer rewarding tokens directly to the holder’s wallet in a few smooth steps.
